I learned that there hasn't been a treatment specially made for pediatric cancer in nearly 20 years! Most treatments are meant for adults.

Progress has been made but we are not there yet. Many pediatric cancer survival rates lag behind and are in desperate need of funding for research into new and innovative treatments and inevitably a cure
