Peak Fresh bags are made using a Modified Atmosphere Packaging film specifically developed for the packaging of fresh fruit and vegetables, which releases the ethylene gases that cause produce to spoil. Must to my surprise, the bags worked really well. I have used them for iceberg lettuce, and it kept my half cut lettuce fresh for over a week.
