Review: Medela Quick Clean Micro-Steam Bags

Are you tired of waiting for the water to boil? I am talking about sterilizing all those nipples, pacifiers and pump parts. It takes forever, unless you are lucky like me, and have found the joy of using the Medela quick clean micro-steam bags.
These bags sterilize everything in as little as three minutes. All you do, is clean as usual, drop everything in the bag, add 2 mls of water and microwave. Our nighttime routine is so much quicker with these bags.

The best part of these bags is the price. A box of five bags is right at $5.00, and each bag is good for 20 uses. It even has a checklist on the back of each bag, so that you know when it is time to retire and start anew.

They can be found at Babies R Us, and are so worth looking into.

Let me know which product helps you save time.

Review and Giveaway: The Pat-a-Cake Baby

Ever find exactly what you are looking for? You know that one thing that does all what you need it to do. Yeah that one!!! Well that is what I got when I received the pacifier bib from The Pat-a-cake Baby.

First of all, this is a bib that attaches the pacifier at the end by a snap. That's right, no having to find a spot to clip the pacifier holder to on baby. No big clip to deal with at all!

Their fabrics are adorable. I chose the Groovy Guitars for my little man. The bib is reversible with a minkee dot fabric on one side and a soft cotton print on the other side . They have a large selection on items with the same patterns, which makes coordinating easy. My bib arrived packaged well and in a timely fashion. I'm going to have to get another one, I just can't decide on which print.

The pacifier bibs are individually crafted for your sweet babe using trendy and modern fabrics. A pearl snap is used to attach the pacifier and velcro is used to attach the bib around baby's neck, which allows for greater size adjustments.

Unlike other paci bibs, these come with an actual NUK Pacifier, Size 1, individually wrapped!

These bibs are so practical and can be a lifesaver! Pacifiers will no longer fall to the ground becoming dirty and unsanitary, which can be especially problematic when there isn't clean water and soap to wash with.

These are perfect for any mama and will sure to bring a smile to her face when she opens up this adorable gift! Each Paci Bib is tagged and professionally packaged.

The bibs measure 15" long, yet when the velcro is attached, it is 12.5" long. The bib width is about 8".

Gotta have one of these for your little one? The Pat-a-Cake baby has generously offered one lucky reader a paci-bib.

All I Want For Christmas is....

Bendaroos??!!!

Yes, that says bendaroos. My 4 year old, Wyatt, is obsessed with these things, since he keeps seeing the infomercial. For 5 months now, every time the commercial comes on, he says I want Santa to bring me that. Well, like most 4 year olds, he says it with almost every commercial.

Fast forward to Friday night. We go to see Santa and take our picture. (doesn't the little one looked thrilled)

Afterwards, I say "Wyatt, what did you ask Santa to bring you?".

He answers "Bendaroos"

I say "What else?" Thinking please let there be something else, as Santa has not purchased them.

He answers "That's it, just bendaroos."

Got to LOVE those infomercials. Guess I am off to buy string wrapped in wax. I'll show you all how well they look all over my house in about three weeks. lol

Last One!!!

My quest for snowman items started around 2 years ago. My son who was 2 at the time was "nowman" obsessed. We have since amassed quite a collection of snowmen. From sweaters to beanie babies, every year when winter starts, so does snowman mania. I came across these adorable snowman ornaments at Other Things . She also has gingerbread men and reindeer.

These little snowmen are ready to adorn your Christmas tree. They are hand made, from the handmade latex mold, to mixing and pouring the plaster, to hand painting them. Each one is approximately 3" high, without the ribbon, and approximately 2" wide. You will get 2 ornaments, one with a green hat and scarf and one with a red hat and scarf. Each comes with a matching hanging ribbon.

Tree-tastic Ornament Giveaway: #4

Here is ornament #4 of the giveaway:

I was looking around at hand stamped jewelry, when I came across my next ornament at YumYum Bubblegum. These beautiful hand stamped copper crosses would make a great show on a tree or to put out year round, multi-purpose never hurts. The cross is hand stamped with either names, sayings, or an inspirational word of your choice. The bottom of the cross can have the year stamped to commemorate the year. The top of the cross is then finished off with a ribbon. I love the shape and design of the cross, simple but elegant. I think this ornament would please anyone on your Christmas list!!

The crosses are 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" solid copper and hand stamped. Any verse, text, date, names or words can be stamped. BE CREATIVE! All lettering is hand stamped, darkened and polished to a beautiful shine. Ornaments are hung by a ribbon in your choice of color, whatever matches your decor.

It is topped with a pretty bow in coordinating colors. Each letter has been primed, sanded, painted, and sealed with a glossy sealer. Your ornament will also come with its own hanger--ready to decorate your tree! Wooden letters are 4 inches in length.

Snotty-snot-snot, what to do

The three month old, HATES the suction bulb. I know that is a huge surprise to all the moms out there. With our lovely New Orleans hot to cold, then cold to hot weather, I can't seem to get rid of his runny nose. I was wondering if anyone has tried the automatic nose suction that is out there. If so, please let me know. Does it really work? I would also take any suggestions on how to get him to like the bulb suction, as if that's gonna happen. lol

Christmas Shopping...

Why does it always seem that we say that we have enough for the kids, but the minute we go into toys r us we go wild. It is like we regress into remembering how much fun it is christmas morning. The stocking stuff will never all fit into a stocking, but yet we buy it anyway. We have managed to somewhat remain on budget, but I still don't know where it will all go. We have plenty for my 4 year old son, but don't quite know what to get the 3 month old. There has to be enough under the tree that the older one will not question why his brother doesn't have as many presents. Any suggestions for infant gifts? I could use some help. Good luck getting your shopping done.
